Outgate - HawksheadJust a few miles from the honeypot village of Hawkshead and close to Ambleside lies the traditional Cumbrian hamlet of Outgate, with its 18th century pub The Outgate Inn
Aptly named due to the fabulous topiary peacock which can be seen in the photograph to the left of the collage above. For larger parties, there is also the opportunity to book The Hayloft which is a one bedroomed studio in grounds adjacent to Peacock Cottage.

This studio is in the grounds adjacent to Peacock Cottage (details above) allowing opportunity for extended families or friends to holiday together but with separate accommodation.
The studio has been finished to a very high standard and would also provide very affordable self-catering accommodation for 2. The Hayloft is just a 100 yards from The Outgate Inn, a traditional lakeland pub serving bar snacks. There is parking for one car, note: no pets are allowed.
Full details of The Hayloft and availability and pricing can be found here
