Smokey Jo's is very hands-on. In addition to finding out the difference between hot-smoked and cold-smoker foods and what foods can be smoked, you will learn the best ways to Smoke Food at home. This very practical course offers you the opportunity to catch your own fish and smoke that too!

Learn how to Smoke Food - At Brougham Hall, Cumbria

Brougham Hall is steeped in history. King Edward VII is reported to have slept here and the Hall was given the name 'Windsor of the North' by the Victorians.

The Old Smokehouse holds regular Saturday workshops to show you the tips and tricks of how to smoke food. Brougham Hall also has a comprehensive list of smoked foods for you to order online - foods are literally smoked to order. If you are passing then why not check if their small shop is open, or pop in for a coffee at their newly opened cafe?
